Our North Wing could not be more dog-friendly. It comprises a suite

of rooms with a downstairs private sitting room and an upstairs

bedroom with king sized bed and en suite shower room. From the sitting

room you have your own external door to an enclosed private patio.

From this there is immediate access to our large garden where your dog

can play and exercise or relieve his/her calls of nature at any time.

From our garden gate, without need of a car,  you can take a short

stroll or a much longer walk in beautiful rolling countryside on safe

lanes and trails never having to cross farm fields. Our own map of

walks is a handy guide for these. Breakfast is served in your private

sitting room with your dog so that he/she does not feel abandoned. For

lunchtime or evening meals we can recommend the dog-friendly

Shepherd's Inn at Melmerby 1.5 miles from our house which has super food.
